The “Revolution of 1800” brought the Jeffersonians to power. In what ways can this be said to be a Revolution? What were the issues at stake? Trace the domestic and foreign policies of the Jeffersonians from 1800 to 1820. In your analysis, discuss how they differed from those of the Federalists. The news of the Treaty of Ghent and of Jackson ‘s victory at the Battle of New Orleans spread throughout the United States at about the same time and touched off what became known as the Era of Good Feeling, ca. 1815 to 1825. What were the key events on the domestic side and in foreign policy during those years?
